As the year comes to a close, I’m delighted to share the brand refresh of Sophie Seddon PR.
This new look not only represents the growth of my business but also personally.
One that continues to push boundaries as I find new opportunities and step into places I once found uncomfortable or thought were beyond my reach.
I’d like to extend my thanks to Katie Walden Illustration for beautifully capturing my story through her illustrations.
Katie created a typewriter (honouring our family motto, ‘said and done,’ and my childhood weekends spent in my grandfather and dad’s architectural practice); my hand and ring (symbolising growth and a new chapter at 40); nods to my business growth; my love of books; and shorthand notes (a tribute to my journalism roots).
A huge thanks to Janet Bebb and Alex Bebb of Social Progress for their technical expertise and creativity in delivering a refreshed website and striking marketing materials, including my first ad and pop-up banner.
Bruce McLeod for his invaluable support throughout the process of securing an AD:VENTURE grant, which provided funding to support this refresh.
Cheryl Devine for inviting me to join her incredible Positive Intelligence Programme, which has helped me align my personal and professional goals as I continue to grow.
After a fulfilling year supporting community projects, it’s time for me to focus on new opportunities. While I’m stepping back from some commitments, giving back remains part of my ethos – championing those who help others thrive, just as I’ve been supported.
This year, I’ve chosen not to send Christmas cards. Instead, I’ll be donating to CLAPA and Smile Train, supporting their incredible work in strengthening cleft care locally, nationally and globally.
As someone known for their friendly smile, it feels fitting to help others share theirs in 2025.
Just as my business has grown, so too have I. Constantly learning, adapting and stepping outside my comfort zone. But with every step, I’ve stayed true to what matters.
Sharing your stories and ensuring your words are said and done.
Thank you for your support.
Warm wishes,
Sophie
