Had a brilliant time at the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce Expo Business Fair at Calderdale College today.
Our stall had a few tricks up its sleeves – Bananagrams to get brains ticking, Giant Jenga for conversation starters, and some very special touches thanks to the wonderful Katie Walden Illustration.
Katie kindly hand wrote all our Jenga questions (far more legible than shorthand scribbles) and created the beautiful Forget Me Not envelopes with her storytelling illustrations. A little reminder that every business has a story to share.
And ours? It started in my late grandfather’s architect’s office – now my dad’s – where I used to sit and type on an old typewriter. That love of storytelling led me into journalism, then police comms, and now here I am with Sophie Seddon PR.
My grandad once gave me a few old gardening tools and some forget-me-nots from his garden. I’ve taken them with me from house to house ever since.
Forget Me Not is more than a flower. It’s how people – and brands – should be remembered.
