boltline. Disrupt. Define. Deliver.

From concept to clarity, this one’s been electric.

It’s not every day a client comes to you with two very different worlds – automotive and childrenswear – and says, “I need a brand that brings this all together.”

Liz Mayes had kept them separate for years. But the truth is, the skills she’s built in both don’t just coexist. They complement each other.

The more we talked, the clearer it became. Liz sees the world differently.

Whether it’s the shoes she steps into (I bet they’re a cool pair of trainers), the textures she’s drawn to, or the bold frames she sees through (ask her how many pairs of sunglasses she owns), she brings a fresh perspective every time.

Confident. Creative. Grounded.

We needed a brand that reflected that. Something bold, sharp and full of intent.

boltline was born. A name with edge, a brand with intent, and a story that sparks something.

Disrupt. Define. Deliver. A strapline that captures her approach.

Disrupt because she’s not here to play it safe.

Define because clarity always wins.

Deliver because she makes it happen.

Every word of that company name and strapline is rooted in Liz’s journey.

The name, strapline, story, tone of voice, landing page, LinkedIn update. The words all put together by me, with Liz’s thinking at the heart.

Sophie Seddon PR’s role?

*Naming

*Strapline

*Brand story

*Tone of voice

*Key words and key messaging

*Search engine optimised (SEO) copy

*Landing page copy

*Optimising and updating copy on LinkedIn personal and company profiles

*Supporting Liz to step forward confidently as the face of it all

Big thanks to the brilliant people who helped bring it all to life.

Nick Woodhead of NWDI for the design that landed it perfectly.

Perrin and Lincoln of Roth Read Photography for capturing Liz’s story so naturally. Perrin again for the feature in Yorkshire Businesswoman.

Devour, Holmfirth, for the perfect backdrop for something bold and beautiful.

Liz is very much the face of Colourcube. The multi-award-winning family company is firmly in her DNA, but boltline gives her space to continue growing. Into automotive, childrenswear, creative brand work and business development. Whatever suits her style and energy.

This has been more than about branding. It’s been about supporting Liz as she owns her story and tells it well.

If you’re ready to step into your next chapter, I’d love to help you write it with confidence.
